The main function of these systems is to provide appropriate access to only authorized people. This is done through identification process in this case we use swipe cards, proximity cards or barcode cards. These systems mainly run on electricity or through battery. The main disadvantage of the Kelio software is that the swipe cards are used for identification and these aren’t capable of decreasing buddy punching. And where as the Anchor fingerprint time clocks use fingerprints for identification. So, it is harder to cheat these systems. And the software in these systems is far more advanced and they are capable of doing many complex calculations like preparing payrolls and preparing time tables. The data fed in these systems is retained for months for future purposes.
